After nearly three years away, we recently returned to the Meliá Sitges, and overall, it was a much-improved experience—especially thanks to the updates made to the pool area, which was a previous point of concern for us. On our last visit, we were disappointed by the natural grass around the pool, which could become muddy and unusable after rain or during private events when large sections were cordoned off. This time, however, we were pleased to see that the hotel has invested in artificial turf, modern sun loungers, and new umbrellas. These changes have greatly enhanced both the aesthetics and usability of the pool area, making it far more enjoyable regardless of weather or scheduled events. We opted for a standard room for our three-night stay and didn’t pay for any upgrades. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and included a balcony that faced the town. Being on the third floor, the view was partially obstructed by a nearby apartment block, although we could still catch glimpses of the sea through the buildings. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy with excellent water pressure in the shower. Towels were clean, soft, and plentiful—always a good sign of attention to guest comfort. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and an in-room safe, and when we requested an iron and ironing board, it was delivered within the hour—great service. Housekeeping deserves special mention: our room was cleaned thoroughly each day, and all amenities were consistently restocked. We included breakfast with our booking and were very happy with the selection. The buffet offered a wide variety of hot and cold options, including a chef preparing eggs to order. Since our last stay, the hotel has also added more coffee machines, which helped avoid queues during busy times. It’s worth noting that the hotel has a strong focus on conferences and corporate events, which sometimes gives the impression that leisure guests are a secondary priority.

The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood close to 2 beaches, sailboat marina and is only about 10 min walk to the historic center. It’s well designed with 2 elevators, airy, with most rooms facing the sea. We stayed for 3 nights to explore Sitges. The check-in process, the overall service was great and unintrusive. The room had a balcony looking at one of the beaches, the bedding was good quality, the shower was great, there was enough space for 2 large and 2 small bags. We also could find free parking around the hotel with no issues, it’s a very secure area.

I had a really helpful intern named Aitor help me with my check-in. I was originally given a room that had three twin size beds in it. He let me know that for a small amount more, I could upgrade to a renovated room with a sea view and a large bed. Once I checked into my upgraded room, he followed up with a call to make sure that I was happy with my choice. Aitor has a bright future in hospitality ahead of him as he understands that it’s the small details that leave an impression of a property. Also enjoyed the gym and the breakfast.

Staff were amazing and the cleaners kept everything tidy. Food from the restaurant and drinks were amazing, for what we had, and good price (cheaper than restaurants on the main street which was convenient and unexpected) would definitely suggest breakfast or 1 meal in the hotel to save some money. The location is 5-minute walk from the beach and a beach bar which is a good stop for breakfast or coffee. Further down is the main street with more bars, restaurants, and shops. Definitely, a stay to recommend, and revisit.

I stayed for a week—rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast offers everything you need: eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, ham, and fresh pastries. Plus, the coffee is excellent, with bean-to-cup machines :) Didn’t use the pool, but it has plenty of sunbeds. Great location: just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, complete with sunbeds and umbrellas. The town centre is about a 15-20 minute walk away, so it's conveniently close to everything.
